Every project on this page is a real Pinnacle build, photographed on the property where I built it. No stock. No staging. Just the outdoor living I made.
I built this firm on the idea that a deck should feel like part of the house, not bolted to it. What follows is a handful of projects from across Putnam, Dutchess, Westchester, and Orange County. Aerials for the scale, detail shots for the part you actually touch.
This one sits on a bluff above the river, and the whole build is organized around the moment you walk out at night. I ran teal LED risers down to the pool, wrapped the perimeter in X-Series cable railing so nothing blocks the water, and kept the deck line low and flat to let the horizon do the talking.
The hardest part was the grade. The lot falls away fast toward the river, so I engineered a multi-level frame that steps down with the land instead of fighting it. Engineering and permits were handled before a single board went down.

The house here sits high on the hill, so the deck had to earn its height. I built a raised main level for dining with a wide stair down to a paver landing, which gives the family two distinct zones without crowding either one.
Underneath, I finished the space as a dry, covered room. The aerial shows the geometry. The ground shots show what it feels like to stand on it.

Railing detail above, finished under-deck room below. One footprint, two rooms.
This property backs into the tree line, so I leaned into the woods instead of clearing them. The deck reaches out toward the ridge, then drops to a curved paver patio that wraps a fire feature.
I used a herringbone board pattern on the main deck to give the surface some quiet texture. It is the kind of detail you notice the second time you visit, not the first.

The owners wanted to use this space in a Hudson Valley October, not just July. So I built a roof. A real one, with a finished ceiling, drainage, and a TV lift, so the deck became a four-season room without losing the open feel of being outside.
I tucked the kitchen against the house and ran a long bench along the rail. When the rain comes off the mountains, nobody has to move.

A pool deck has to read two ways. From the air it should look clean and intentional. At the waterline it has to be safe and warm underfoot. I solved both with a low-profile composite surround, signature aluminum railing, and teal LED risers on every step down to the water.
The night shots are the ones the owners send their friends. The lighting was planned at the framing stage, not added after.

Poolside lounge, then the elevated spa deck.
This deck is built for the end of the day. A linear fire table anchors the lounge, cable railing keeps the valley open, and a sunken spa sits one step down where the deck meets the slope.
I zoned it so the fire, the spa, and the dining table each have their own pool of light. You can have six people over and nobody is sitting in the dark.

Fire and hot tub together, then the fire pit seating.
Not every project needs an aerial to make the point. This one is about the last hour of light. Trex composite warming up at sunset, cable railing catching the gold, and Haven lighting easing the deck into the evening.
It is a smaller build than the estates above, and it is one of my favorites. Proof that the details are what people remember.
